Vice President Kamala Harris discusses drought mitigation in Southern California

[ad_1]

Vice President Kamala Harris was in Southern California on Friday discussing recovery efforts after week’s of severe weather in the region.

She was at an LADWP facility in Sun Valley, which she said was an example of how to conserve and store water during periods of heavy rain and how it can be used to combat drought conditions.

The visit comes at the heels of President Joe Biden’s tour of storm-ravaged areas elsewhere in the state.
