Bronx artist Lil Tjay was reportedly arrested by NYPD Monday after police found a loaded gun inside a car he was riding in.
The “Calling My Phone” musician, whose real name is Tione Jayden Merritt, was on the way to an Ice Spice music video shoot when the car he was riding in with friends was pulled over for unknown reasons.

The 21-year-old and one of his friends were arrested with charges pending, according to police. TMZ reports the charges will include weapon possession.
The news of Tjay’s arrest comes just months after he fully recovered after being shot multiple times in an attempted robbery at a New Jersey shopping plaza.
