Large water main break floods streets in Wilmington



Water spread to streets and sidewalks in Wilmington Friday afternoon due to a large water main break, authorities said.

The incident was reported shortly after 2 p.m. at 417 N. Avalon.

Sky5 footage showed water bubbling up from the ground next to a light pole. Several inches to more than foot of water had spread to streets and businesses.
