The Royal Family is traveling to be by Queen Elizabeth’s side while she’s under medical supervision.
On Thursday, all of the Queen’s children flew to her Scottish estate near Aberdeen. A statement was released stating that doctors are worried about the Queen’s health.
“Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision,” the statement said.
The announcement of the Queen’s health is unusual, as Buckingham Palace doesn’t release information about her health often.
There haven’t been many details on what the Queen is battling except for difficulties with mobility. There are speculations that she might have fallen. However, she was photographed standing on her feet with newly appointed prime minister Liz Truss on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Truss said that the “whole country” would be “deeply concerned” by the news.
“My thoughts and the thoughts of people across our United Kingdom are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family at this time,” she said.
Prince Charles and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have traveled to Balmoral.
The Duke of York and the Count and Countess of Wessex are traveling to the Scottish estate nearby Aberdeen.
The Princess Royal, Princess Anne, was already in Scotland tending to prior engagements.
The Duke of Cambridge is also en route. The Duchess of Cambridge remains in Windsor with their children.
