‘Black Ink Crew’ Star Ceaser Emanuel Turns Himself into Authorities Following Animal Cruelty Charges

Following a viral video showing him abusing a dog, ‘Black Ink Crew‘ star Ceaser Emanuel turned himself in to authorities on animal cruelty charges.

According to a representative for the City of South Fulton PD in Georgia, Emanuel turned himself in on Wednesday. He is being charged with two misdemeanors of animal cruelty and one felony of aggravated cruelty to animals.

Shortly after the video of Ceaser striking a dog with a metal chair surfaced, he was let go from “Black Ink Crew.” According to Emanuel’s attorney, the video was taken while COVID was under lockdown and may have been leaked by a bitter ex-girlfriend.

There has been no confirmation from police that the charges are related to the abuse video, but South Fulton was investigating the incident, so the charges are likely related.

Whether the video was leaked or not, there is never a justification for mistreating an animal. However, Ceaser claims that the video doesn’t represent who he really is, telling TMZ that he was merely intervening in a fight amongst his animals.

According to Ceaser, one of the dogs was given to a friend after the video surfaced.

In June, Ceaser’s attorney told TMZ, “Although his actions were not appropriate at all, [Ceaser] is sincerely apologetic and feels extremely bad. He is dealing with death threats which are causing him fear and depression. His only goal was to build an empire to help build jobs and bring the black community in the tattoo industry successful given that the community is limited there.”
