It’ll take some time to get started and make money, but after a few months, you should see the potential.

There are many benefits of blogging like the ability to work from anywhere in the world, extremely low cost to get started, and a virtually unlimited income potential – making it an attractive side hustle for introverts.

Dog Walking Side Hustle

Dog Walking

If you don’t enjoy people, but don’t mind furry friends, consider walking dogs as a side hustle. This is the perfect side hustle for introverts because the only social interaction you’ll have is picking up the dogs.

Once you’ve picked up the dogs, you’ll get paid to walk them around the block. To sweeten the deal, you can even complete online surveys while walking dogs to earn even more.

To find those in need of dog walkers, you can try several apps including Rover. These apps will connect you with people looking for dog walkers in your area.

The amount of money you can make varies depending on your location and the length of the walk but it’s common to earn around $15 to $20 for 30 to 45 minutes of walking!

House Sitting

House sitting is an excellent side hustle for those who enjoy working alone because you’ll get paid to do nothing without having to interact with others. Your task is simple — stay at the home and keep it occupied until the owners return.

It’s common for homeowners to find house sitters for an upcoming vacation or extended leave from their home. Sometimes you might be asked to also take care of any pets they might have. If you choose to do this, be sure to ask for more money!

House-sitting can be a great way for introverts to make a couple of hundred dollars throughout their week doing essentially nothing.

Doordash Tips

Food Delivery

Food delivery sales are at an all-time high which comes with great opportunity for those looking to make some money on the side.

Becoming a delivery driver for apps like Doordash can be a perfect side hustle for introverts because the majority of your work is done driving, by yourself.

The pay for food delivery apps varies depending on many factors, but it’s common to earn anywhere from $10 to over $15 per hour of work.

Investing

While this isn’t a traditional side hustle by the definition, investing is a great way to grow your money without doing any work.

There are many platforms that make it easy to start investing with as little as $5.

For example, with Acorns – you can invest in the stock market with just $5! As a bonus, you’ll get $10 free!

With Fundrise, you can invest in real estate with as little as $10, plus – you’ll get $10 free!

Investing is a great way to build wealth and make money as an introvert without having to do any work.

Instacart Shoppers App

Grocery Delivery

Similar to food delivery, grocery delivery sales are also at record highs. The convenience of having your groceries delivered directly to your door has captivated Americans looking to save time.

Delivering groceries with companies like Instacart can pay quite well.

You can expect to earn around $13 to $18 per hour. Just like food delivery, much of your time will be spent in the car driving.

Furniture Flipping

While there are some aspects of furniture flipping that will require social interaction, the majority of it can be completed alone making it a perfect side hustle for any introvert.

To get started flipping furniture, you’ll need to find old, distressed pieces of furniture you can purchase for cheap. If you can find these online, that will help to limit social interactions. If not, browse local thrift stores or use local classifieds like Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, or garage sales.

Next, you’ll need to refurbish your pieces with a fresh coat of paint and some basic woodworking before selling them for a profit.

How much money can you make flipping furniture?

Depending on your skills, you could make over $500 per month! As you become more skilled at identifying pieces to flip and repairing the furniture, you can make even more.

Make Money 3D Printing

Looking for a unique side hustle that can done by yourself? Try 3D printing! There are many different ways you can use your 3D printer to make money but one of my favorites is making products to sell.

Items like chip clips, phone holders, and other small pieces can be made for extremely cheap and sold online for a profit. If you’re an introvert looking for a side hustle, give this one a try!

Podcasting with Laptop

Podcasting

If you prefer audio content over written or visual content, starting a podcast could be an excellent choice for introverts looking for a side hustle.

Some podcasts are created and produced with one individual while others are created with multiple people from an “interview” style.

Depending on the type of podcast you create, this side hustle can be a good start for introverts.

You’ll need to dedicate some time to learning how to become a podcaster and tips to marketing your podcast to grow your audience and make money.

Similar to a blog, once you have grown your audience you can monetize it by offering ads throughout your episodes or using affiliate marketing.

Virtual Assistant

While a virtual assistant isn’t a side hustle that’s completely limited social interaction, it is less than many other side hustles.

As a virtual assistant, you’ll likely only work with one other person and the job is done completely remote, making it a good option for many introverts.

As a virtual assistant, you’ll be tasked with various general tasks including:

  • Responding to emails
  • Posting on social media
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Creating reports

Becoming a virtual assistant is simple because it does not require a defined set of skills to get started. It’s common to get paid hourly anywhere between $10 to $20 per hour.

Freelance Writing

Freelance writing is perhaps one of the best and easiest side hustles for introverts. The majority of your work will be completed by yourself at your desk.

Your only social interaction will be communicating with clients and editors regarding your projects.

To make a full-time income with freelance writing, you’ll need to have strong writing and editing skills, as well as a portfolio of your work.

As a freelance writer, you have the potential to make upwards of $1 per word written for major publications. For example, if you are tasked with writing a 1,500-word article, you could make upwards of $1,500. Pretty good for a side hustle!

Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is not necessarily a side hustle of its own, but it can be paired with various other methods to make money.

To make money with affiliate marketing, you’ll need to have access to people that you can promote your affiliate links to. For example, if you have a larger social media following in the fitness industry, you might promote a certain protein powder in which you earn a commission for each sale you facilitate.

The income potential from affiliate marketing is quite tremendous. Depending on the size of your audience, you may be capable of making over $10,000 per month by promoting your affiliate links.

How do you become an affiliate marketer?

You’ll need to first grow an audience in some manner.

This could be through a blog or social media account. Then, you can apply for an account with various affiliate networks. These sites partner with brands and publishers to match your audience with the right brand. You can apply to specific affiliate programs within the network. Once the brand approves you to promote their brand, you can grab your links and start making money with affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is a perfect way for introverts to make money because it can be done completely online without any in-person interaction.

Rent Out Your Home

While this isn’t necessarily a traditional side hustle, renting out a portion (or all) of your home can be a good way to make money each month.

If you have extra rooms and bathrooms in your home, you might be capable of renting them out for a few hundred dollars each month.

Freelance Graphic Design

Graphic designing can be a good option for introverts looking to cash in on their skills.

As a freelancer, you’ll have more flexibility to work from home at the pace that suits you rather than a full-time job that requires you to show up at the office 5 days per week.

For any type of freelancing, the hardest part is finding clients. By attending virtual networking events, you can speak with companies looking to expand their design teams but aren’t ready to commit to a full-time employee.

You can also opt to sell your designs online to make money. This can be a passive income stream that requires almost no human interaction.

Clean Houses or Businesses

Starting a cleaning business can be a great choice for introverts looking to work alone.

Your work can be completed after hours for many businesses or during the weekends for homeowners.

You’ll need some basic supplies and equipment to get started, most of which you likely already have. If you don’t have any, you can expect to spend around $300 to $500 in supplies to get started.

The amount of money you can make varies but you can expect to earn around $15 per hour at the beginning of your journey.

Yard Work Side Hustle

Complete Yard Work

While it’s not on my list of the easiest side hustles, doing yard work can be a great high-paying option for those who prefer working alone.

Yard work can entail various tasks including mowing grass, trimming bushes, laying, laying mulch, or picking up fallen leaves.

One of the perks of yard work — it pays well. Because the work can be strenuous, your pay will reflect your sacrifices. It’s common to charge anywhere from $20 to $40 per hour of work.

Paint Houses

Painting home interiors can be a lucrative side hustle for any introvert capable. You’ll need to have strong attention to detail to become a successful painter, but the work is simple.

Painting can be tough for your body, in particular shoulders, so you’ll want to consider this when determining how much to charge for your services.

Similar to a cleaning business, the supplies to get started will cost around $500.

Make and Sell Candles from Home

Want a creative side hustle with a high-income potential? Selling candles from home is the perfect option for introverts and it’s easier than you might think.

Making candles will require some basic supplies that can be purchased for less than $200. As you expand your offerings, you might dedicate more resources to experimenting with different scents, containers, and colors.

Candles can be sold online for more than $15 each, providing an opportunity for those willing to learn.

Flip Websites

Similar to other online businesses, flipping websites is a good side hustle for introverts looking to make money.

You’ll need to acquire a few skills before getting started but once you become more experienced your income can grow exponentially.

The key to flipping websites is finding an existing website with potential. This skill takes time to acquire. Once you better understand which websites have potential, you’ll need to craft a plan to grow the website and revenues.

After increasing the profit of your website, you can sell it for a gain and reinvest your earnings into another website. This process will start to compound and your earnings will multiply quickly. If you’re looking for something a little less complex, you might try domain name flipping to make money.

Start a YouTube Channel

Starting a YouTube channel can be an extremely profitable side hustle for introverts looking to make money online.

Just like other forms of content creation, it can take some time to start making money – but once your channel begins to grow, your income can grow exponentially.

While you might think you need to be an expert video editor or have the fanciest equipment to get started, this couldn’t be further from the truth.

It’s possible to grow a large following without having the most advanced skills or equipment.

You’ll need to be willing to put in the work and be consistent with your uploads but if you can do that, you can make a lot of money from YouTube.

Some popular YouTubers make over 7 figures each year form their channels!

Publish a Book

If you want to make passive income, publishing a book can be a great choice for many introverts.

You can write a book on just about any topic under the sun, which means there’s potential for just about anyone to make money this way.

You’ll need to invest some time and effort into writing your book but once it’s finished, you can make money for years to come.

Thanks to the advancement of self publishing platforms like Amazon Kindle, it’s easier than ever to get your book published and start making money.

Sell Online Courses

If you have a passion for teaching others, but you don’t want to be face to face – selling online courses can be an awesome way to earn an income online.

When it comes to selling courses, there are a few things you’ll want to keep in mind.

First, what will your course cover? Are there certain topics that you want to be sure to explore?

Secondly, how much will your course cost? Depending on the size and duration of the course, as well as your individual expertise, an online course can cost as little as $50 and as much as $2,000 or more.

Finally, how will you market and sell your course? Unfortunately, just because you publish a course doesn’t mean people will be able to find it. You’ll want to determine your marketing plan for your course to ensure people can find it.

Creating a course is no small task.

You’ll want to spend time formulating the curriculum and getting feedback before launching it.

There are many different platforms you can use to sell courses online but some of the best include Podia or Teachable.

With these platforms you can upload text and video files into modules and have your students go through the course at their own pace.

Selling online courses is a great side hustle for introverts because it allows you to earn passive income online without having to deal with people face to face.

Work as a Proofreader

Proofreading is an easy and profitable side job that just about anyone can do to make money from the comfort of their home.
